David Slater is from Dallas, Texas, and now lives in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1987 he won TV's "Star Search" (hosted by the late Ed McMahon), singing songs he wrote with co-writer Jack White. David then recorded country music on Capitol Records, releasing two critically acclaimed albums produced by Randy Scruggs and several charted radio singles including "I'm Still Your Fool," "The Other Guy," "She Will," "Exchange Of Hearts," and "Whatcha Gonna Do About Her." Notable background singers on David's albums include Vince Gill and members of Australia's beloved rock group, Little River Band.

These days, in addition to his own music David performs and records classic songs from the 40's and 50's made famous by legendary entertainers such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, and more. "I just love the old stuff!" says Slater.

David's latest CD, "Nice And Easy," is his tribute to the legendary crooners of that golden era. Click BUY NOW to get your copy.
